1)What are examples of how Americans expressed their anger and frustration with President Hoover?
-Farmers were upset with low crop prices they decided to burn their crops and dump their milk on highways rather than sell it at a low cost. Some farmers also declared, "farm holidays" which they refused to work. Also, farmers blocked roads to prevent food from getting to markets and prevented authorities from foreclosing their farms by force.
2)What were Hoover's principles? The ones he chose to hold firm on?
-Hoover's principle was that he refused to support direct relief (aid) or other forms of federal welfare. [He refused to support people in need with direct relief aid.]
3)Who made up the Bonus Army, and how did what happen to them affect President Hoover?
-The Bonus Army were World War I veterans and their families. The Bonus Army marched to Washington, D.C to collect money that was owed to them. At the end, the Bonus Army was treated unfairly and President Hoover was left with a negative poor reputation because he directed the army to tear gas the Bonus Army because they did not pay them their bonus.
