-The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was proposed by John F. Kennedy which proposed the end of segregation in public places and banned employment discrimination.
2)Which groups were affected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964?
-Disabled Americans, African Americans, minorities, elderly, women, etc. were affected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
3)What did the Civil Rights Act do for the United States?
-The Civil Rights Act helped everyone have equal employment, segregation, was banned, and forbade the use of federal funds for any discriminatory program.
